Format and Scoring
The UK Masters is a 6-round individual tournament where teams are reset between games (Resurrection style).
The first round will be seeded as follows:
- All players will be ranked by their win percentage in BB2020 NAF games as of data available on November 1st 2025.
- Using this ranking the field will be split into two halves and players from the top half randomly matched against players from the bottom half to create the round.
In Rounds 2 – 6 players will be matched against opponents with a similar points score i.e. using the Swiss system.
Points scoring:
win =2 points
draw =1 point
loss =0 points
Players will be ranked using a system of tiebreakers in the following order:
- Points Scored
- Sum of Opponents Scores
- Number of wins
- Net TDs
- Coin Toss
Regarding round 1 seeding, we acknowledge this has the potential to create tough round 1 matchups for less experienced players. We hope this isn’t a deterrent. We want players to develop their blood bowl skills and feel this presents a chance to do that. It also provides an opportunity for giant-killing which we think is quite fun!
